We love ministry. And we do our best to give our students every opportunity to minister according to their gifting. Here are some of the ministries we have as a youth group.
Canning Hunger...
Is a relatively new ministry for us. What we do is go door to door throughout the community asking people for canned food to donate to the local food bank. But we don't stop there. We also ask if they know Jesus. And if they'll listen we'll talk about God and His gospel. We go out about every other week. Our goal is to reach every house in Columbia County by the end of 2008.
Worship Team...
Is a group of students who love to sing God's praises, and lead others in doing the same. The purpose of the Worship Team is to guide students into God's presence in preparation for the Bible study and even create an atmosphere of worship in the youth group.
Hospitality Team...
Prepares the coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cider every Sunday before Sunday School. Yes we serve coffee to Jr. and Sr. High students. It's one of the ways we try to make everyone feel as welcome as possible.
